How To Be a Successful Single Parent…
A post from a single parent, a mother, raising her beautiful one-year old daughter.
There are a lot of categories of being a Single Parent, two of which is, it’s either you are not married or you are separated from your husband. Either of the two, it is still difficult to raise a child on your own.
There are a lot of things you should take into consideration, when your child is still young, at the age of one, you would be able to take care of her, give attention to her needs and give enough affection that a single mom could only give. But once your child grows up, she’ll be having a lot of questions on her mind and needs that a single mom may not be able to provide.
Remember to always have an open relationship with your child, because through this you would be able to know what are the things she wants, things she needs and things she wanted to know. Also, take into your concern to ask help from your parents, they would be able to offer a different kind of love and affection that your child might need. We have to put in mind that a child who is filled with so much love, joy, and affection might not wanted to look for more since she already had enough of what she really needs.
Raising a Perfect Child 101
Here’s a unique guest blogger that is unique. It’s unique in a sense that he is not a parent, but his blog post wants to directly address what is on his mind to the concern parents… let’s check the blogging parents guest blog post…
It’s the 21st century and teens these days are becoming somewhat uncontrollable. Parents are usually the first suspects for the rapid growth of juvenile kids. After all, what you sow so shall you reap. Now, try asking these parents what went wrong. Ask them why their child became an outcast of society. They usually have this one common thing among them; pointing fingers.
Let’s see what these parents usually blame for their kids’ actions:
1. Peers
2. Trends
3. Video Game
I can see the point behind peers and trends but video games? That’s like asking a pilot to man a ship. It’s either they usually see their children play video games and do some nasty things outside or they simply can’t make more innovative excuses for their mistakes.
The point here is that one should know responsibility. Raising a child is not just about giving him basic needs like food and shelter. Parents should know and understand that raising a child takes a lot of effort and patience. You can’t just instruct them to be a good, law abiding citizen, right? You don’t need a book or “Raising a Perfect Child 101” guide. All you need is to listen to them and know what they do. Take responsibility and teach them virtues they’ll need as they grow up.
Now if only these people would care to listen…
