Today I bought a book called “Calm Kids” written by Shirley Lane-Smith. I probably got the old version of the book since the cover is different from the one selling in Amazon (the photo in this post). This one has close up shot of cute faces of two kids.

There are a lot of categories of being a Single Parent, two of which is, it’s either you are not married or you are separated from your husband. Either of the two, it is still difficult to raise a child on your own.
There are a lot of things you should take into consideration, when your child is still young, at the age of one, you would be able to take care of her, give attention to her needs and give enough affection that a single mom could only give. But once your child grows up, she’ll be having a lot of questions on her mind and needs that a single mom may not be able to provide.
Remember to always have an open relationship with your child, because through this you would be able to know what are the things she wants, things she needs and things she wanted to know. Also, take into your concern to ask help from your parents, they would be able to offer a different kind of love and affection that your child might need.
