    Raising a Perfect Child 101

By Jacaranda On December 5, 2009 Under Learning and Development

Here’s a unique guest blogger that is unique. It’s unique in a sense that he is not a parent, but his blog post wants to directly address what is on his mind to the concern parents… let’s check the blogging parents guest blog post…

It’s the 21st century and teens these days are becoming somewhat uncontrollable. Parents are usually the first suspects for the rapid growth of juvenile kids. After all, what you sow so shall you reap. Now, try asking these parents what went wrong. Ask them why their child became an outcast of society. They usually have this one common thing among them; pointing fingers.

Let’s see what these parents usually blame for their kids’ actions:
    1. Peers
    2. Trends
    3. Video Game

I can see the point behind peers and trends but video games? That’s like asking a pilot to man a ship. It’s either they usually see their children play video games and do some nasty things outside or they simply can’t make more innovative excuses for their mistakes.

The point here is that one should know responsibility. Raising a child is not just about giving him basic needs like food and shelter. Parents should know and understand that raising a child takes a lot of effort and patience. You can’t just instruct them to be a good, law abiding citizen, right? You don’t need a book or “Raising a Perfect Child 101” guide. All you need is to listen to them and know what they do. Take responsibility and teach them virtues they’ll need as they grow up.

Now if only these people would care to listen…
