    Calming Toddlers with Calm Kids

By Jacaranda On January 14, 2010 Under Parenting Books, Parenting Tips, Parenting Tool

Successful parenting, developing self-esteem, coping skills, affirmations, setting goals, friendships and relations and many more, these are the things that the book “Calm Kids” will supposedly teach its readers.

Today I bought a book called “Calm Kids” written by Shirley Lane-Smith. I probably got the old version of the book since the cover is different from the one selling in Amazon (the photo in this post). This one has close up shot of cute faces of two kids.

Anyway, Calm Kids is an inspiring book of gentle wisdom for parents. All parents want their children to enjoy a positive sense of personal worth. This book will give you, the parent, the skills to help your young children and your teenagers develop hig self-esteem as well as organisational and decision making skills.

I hope that this book will help me in raising up my children and making them better individuals. Also, I will be sharing my thoughts about this book as I progress in reading it.
