By Jacaranda On September 2, 2009 Under Parenting Tips, parenting

Toddlers throw tantrums as a way of expressing anger and frustration. We as parents should know how to handle a child’s tantrums. Learning to deal with temper tantrums takes patience, yelling and screaming will only cause the child to respond negatively.

What causes a tantrum to form, how to deal with temper tantrums, to how to avoid a tantrum all together?

Here are some of the Top Reasons why Toddlers throw tantrums

  • Tired – Babies and little boys and gilrs are super acitve and wants to be playing all the time. When toddlers get tired and worn out, they tend to throw tantrums.
  • Hungry -
  • Bored -

An important thing to remember when you deal with temper tantrums is to stay calm and ignore the behavior. Don’t punish the child, but don’t reward the behavior either. They are just trying to learn how to express their feelings. They will grow out of this as they get older and learn to control their emotions.
