    How To Get Pregnant

By Jacaranda On March 11, 2010 1 Comment

Many couples are asking ‘how to get pregnant?’ Although this question may seem so easy to answer and every one knows how to get pregnant, or how to make baby for that matter, but still many couples are having a hard time conceiving their first baby.

    This is sad.

As a parent, I am very fortunate to know the joy of knowing that there are little people that came from you. It’s hard to explain the feeling that these little men (that’s in my case, I have 2 boys) will soon become their own individual self and will become part of the social community.

I am very thankful that God blessed us with these two wonderful boys. And now I pray for those want to be parents for them to have their own child. Because having them truly is fulfilling.

Are you struggling to get pregnant? Are you frustrated, or feeling angry for not being able to conceive despite all your efforts ? If you answered yes, then let me tell you that I know exactly how you feel, because I personally had gone through the same experience years ago. I have battled with my so called infertility for more than a decade until I have finally found a cure, got pregnant twice and now am a proud mother of two beautiful healthy children.

That is a quote that I took from someone who is selling an electronic book that promises couples that they will become pregnant. I cannot contest and say that this is true but I still want to share it to you in case you’re interested. Check out her book on “How To Get Pregnant”.

My name is Lisa Olson and over the past 14 years, through a long process of trial, error and experimentation, I have developed a sure-fire, 100% guaranteed, clinically researched system that is backed by 60,000+ hours of nutritional expertise and Chinese medicine research for getting pregnant quickly and naturally. This is a very rare, highly unique and potently powerful Infertility healing system, which very few women even know exists…

    How To Get Pregnant?

Most couples think they know how to get pregnant. Well, speaking for myself, I thought it was easy. But like I said before not all couples will meet this challenge with success. Infertility not that uncommon and we have statistics to prove that infertility affects one in every six couples. The information on this post will try to help infertile couples become pregnant quickly and naturally.

    • Start taking folic acid now. You reduce your chances of giving birth to a baby with a neural tube defect (for example, anencephaly or spina bifida) by 50% to 70% if you start taking at least 0.4 mg of folic acid each day two to three months before you start trying to conceive.
    • Make love often during your fertile period (the five days leading up to ovulation). If you’ve got the stamina to make love at least every 48 hours, you will ensure that there’s a fresh shipment of sperm waiting in the fallopian tube at any given time. Of course, you can get too much of a good thing if your partner has a low sperm count, so if you’re aware of a pre-existing fertility problem, you’ll want to talk this issue over with your fertility specialist.

    Low Blood Pressure During Pregnancy

By Jacaranda On November 17, 2009 No Comments

Low Blood Pressure During Pregnancy… Once upon a time, my wife and myself went to the hospital, to her OB Gyne for her scheduled checkup. That’s when I found out that pregnant really do experience low blood pressure.

This was more than 4 years ago when she was carrying our first son, Matthew. That’s the time also that I wrote my experience about it in my Father and Son blog. Imagine that, it has been four years already! I really believe now that internet can most definitely preserve memories.

And now, I would like to do a re-post of that same blog article here for those who are still searching for the information about low blood pressure during pregnancy…. And I know that not only those carrying a child are looking for this info, but also to the first time fathers like myself 4 years ago.

Low blood pressure during pregnancy. This is for the information of the new parents out there, specifically for moms-to-be,  who are looking for answers as to why they are having low blood pressure while they are pregnant. First thing’s first, there is really nothing to worry about. As far as I read, low blood pressure during pregnancy is normal.

    What Is Low Blood Pressure?

Hypotension is the medical term for low blood pressure. You have hypotension if you have a blood pressure of less than 90/60

    Dizziness and Lightheaded During Pregnancy

Most of the times this is normal. I did a little research and found out that these happened occasionally on pregnant women.

When you’re pregnant, your cardiovascular system undergoes dramatic changes. Your heart rate goes up, your heart pumps more blood per minute, and the amount of blood in your body expands by 40 to 45 percent.

Read all about low blood during pregnancy on everything daddy! But again, there’s no need to be alarmed. Relax.

    Couvades Syndrome :: Pregnant Fathers?

By Jacaranda On March 19, 2009 No Comments

Couvade syndrome is a medical/mental condition which “involves a father experiencing some of the behavior of his wife at near the time of childbirth, including her birth pains, postpartum seclusion, food restrictions, and sex taboos”

Everything-Daddy says that these concition really do happens and that the symptons of being pregnant really do experiences by the fathers… they sometimes call it sympathy pains.

To name a few, these are morning sickness, sore back, swelling limbs, contractions and more.

As to why these phenomenon is happening, no one knows. There are sayings and theories that these are sympathetic in nature (hence the term “sympathetic pregnancy”) or could have been brought in by stress. What ever the reason may be, it is completely psychological.

One thing to note though, this is not new stuff. Medical writings dates back to 400 ago proves that this has been experienced by fathers. In some country Couvades Syndrome is widely accepted and most of the time, is already part of their social culture.
